During September and early October, CATABB received visits from representatives of Mondragón University (Mounir Bouali and Urko Zurutuza, 09/18/2025) and the University of Deusto–Deustotech (Alejo Silvarrey, 10/01/2025) at its new location in the Etxebarri storm tank.

On both occasions, the university teams learned first-hand about the work carried out at the center and the advances in research and innovation achieved by CATABB. The visits also served to promote the exchange of knowledge and experiences, as well as to discuss possible future lines of collaboration in areas of shared interest.

These meetings reinforce CATABB’s commitment to applied research and to creating a platform open to academic and technological collaboration, in search of joint solutions that enable more efficient and sustainable water management for the citizens of Bilbao and Bizkaia.
