Representatives from CATABB have participated in the 38th DAQUAS Congress, held from 3rd to 5th June in Madrid, Spain’s principal national forum for the urban water sector. The event, organised by Canal de Isabel II, convened over one thousand experts and industry leaders to deliberate upon and facilitate the transfer of knowledge concerning the integrated water cycle within a context of significant challenges facing the sector.
Throughout the three-day Congress, strategic matters were addressed, including regulatory frameworks, climate resilience, digitalisation, the incorporation of emerging technologies, and the necessity to address existing investment deficits. The programme encompassed more than one hundred technical presentations delivered concurrently, alongside roundtable discussions and specialised sessions spanning topics from water capture and treatment engineering to cybersecurity, circular economy principles, research and development, and sustainability.
CATABB’s participation in this event reinforces its commitment to innovation and research in sustainable solutions for water management, thereby consolidating its presence amongst the sector’s principal forums.
