On October 20, the Bilbao representation of the YWP group visited the storm tank and CATABB facilities located in Etxebarri. During the visit to the storm tank, it was explained how, thanks to the tank, during periods of heavy rainfall the treatment capacity of the Galindo wastewater treatment plant is not exceeded. Young Water Professionals Spain is the Spanish branch of young water professionals of the IWA, a network born in 2015 promoted and supported by AEAS. Globally, The YWP International Conference brings together 300 young water, environmental and related professionals from around the world and showcases how young water professionals are making an impact across the sector, as well as offering capacity building and training sessions to further empower our future water leaders to address the demands of the water sector.
