On November 29th, the CATABB’s day of visits took place within the day of technical visits scheduled at the Digital Water Summit held in Bilbao between November 29th and December 2nd. The Digital Water Summit has counted with some of the world’s leading experts in digital water. It is organized by the IWA together with the Consorcio de Aguas Bilbao Bizkaia and the Spanish Association of Water Supply and Sanitation (AEAS). 

After a presentation of the Center, in which a review has been made from the origin to the future plans, there has been a guided tour of the facility. During the tour, the technologies available at the facility were presented, as well as the projects carried out there. 

The inclusion in digitalization is one of the main challenges faced at CATABB, so all comments and proposals from the attendees have been taken into consideration for the development of possible projects.
