The EITB program Teknopolis is preparing a report on water management and treatment technologies. Throughout the morning of July 14, the program team has made recordings of different locations within CATABB and has interviewed Santos Paunero (Head of the Innovation Unit of CABB and CATABB) and Ana Urkiaga (GAIKER researcher and member of the Aquambiente-Gaiker joint venture managing CATABB).
In this report, GAIKER will have a main role as a technological center belonging to the BRTA with a long and extensive experience and knowledge in the field of water treatment. Ana Urkiaga, will explain in the report different aspects of the research carried out in this technological center, among which are those developed in CATABB itself.
TEKNOPOLIS is a collaborative project in which a large number of agents from the Basque Science, Technology and Innovation Network, as well as from the field of education, participate. In each program, about 30 minutes long, scientific-technological and innovation contents of research carried out by universities, technology centers and companies, both from the Basque Country and from all over the world, are presented. The program is scheduled to be broadcast in October.
