At various points in the network, determining the Langelier Saturation Index (LSI) is essential for water quality control, as it allows the assessment of the water\u2019s potential to be either corrosive or scale-forming.<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With the aim of optimising the management of the Langelier Index, the LANGELIER ALERT project has been launched to develop and validate a specific protocol for LSI management in water treatment systems. This protocol will be based on modelling the determining parameters, analysing historical data, and simulating corrective actions.
